Champions!!!!

Well done to all of you girls for the way you played today which allowed us to secure the title with a match to go!! It was a very hard match but you all showed incredible commitment and team spirit!

We must also thank those who were not playing today due to injury or unavailaibility as we are a team and the efforts of every team member have helped us achieve this result!



So, we now have one match to go - Home v Swindon Town Ladies - we must keep playing as we have done recently and win that match too. We have scored 96 league goals this season so the target is to score 4 on Saturday to make the Century!!!

We then have festivals on 31 May, 1 June and 8 June. These will be 6-aside matches but we are enetering two teams in two of the festivals so that the entire squad can participate and, hopefully, come away with medals!

Thunder Update

Hello players and parents!!
This is my first blog for the Thunder squad so I hope that it is OK?!
I have distributed a CD of the photos from the Chippenham Town match to those girls who attended training on Saturday. Those who still want the CD, please ask me - there are some good photos on it!!
This Sunday's cup match is against Wotton Bassett Away. They managed to get their first points of the season yesterday by drawing with Chippenham Town. This will improve their confidence so we will need to concentrate.
Please can all of you let me know if you would like some type of social function for all of us to go out to - if so, suggestions of what welcome but, maybe, paintballing, laserquest, mountain biking, sporting event, etc....
